A compact yet powerful speaker that brings together sculptural form, crafted materials, and exceptional sound quality.
The brief called for a compact speaker that could deliver uncompromising acoustic performance while introducing a new, more sculptural language to the brand’s product range. The goal was to create an object that feels as considered in a living space as it does as a piece of technology.
Working closely with acoustic engineers and material specialists, the design process focused on achieving the highest possible sound quality within a refined, minimal envelope. The resulting form challenges the traditional monoblock speaker typology through carefully considered proportions, material transitions, and a sense of quiet presence.
Extensive prototyping was central to the development. Multiple material studies and form iterations were explored to find the right balance between acoustic requirements, manufacturing feasibility, and emotional quality.
The exterior surfaces were refined to create a soft yet precise language — combining high-quality finishes with subtle textural contrasts that reward closer inspection. Every detail, from the transition between materials to the integration of controls, was considered as part of a coherent whole.

Balance launched as a refined expression of what a modern premium speaker can be — compact, powerful, and intentionally designed for the spaces people actually live in. The project demonstrates how industrial design, acoustics, and material craft can come together to create an object of lasting quality.
