MEET Emmanuel

Emmanuel Laffon de Mazières is an industrial designer passionate about bringing to market beautiful, well-crafted and useful objects and experiences. 

In a career spanning some ten years, Emmanuel has held positions of increasing scope and responsibility within the industrial design field.  Emmanuel currently serves as Senior Industrial Designer at Amazon Lab126, where he has been involved in all aspects of industry work.

In this position, he is involved in design development, prototype development, and other design-related functions. He has been heavily involved in the design of Kindle / Fire products, and has also spent a great deal of time in China, where he has provided industrial design guidance and expertise.

He previously held other positions of note, and was at the heart of many important, high-profile design and product initiatives. In all of his positions, Emmanuel has displayed an ability to see all products and projects to their maximum potential, and he has also worked well with all levels of design personnel and design teams.

Emmanuel earned a Master's Degree from Institut Supérieur de Design in France. He has won many important industry awards, signifying exemplary work and performance.
